Feb. 14, 2004 - Dave took Jared to the Denver Zoo.

The highlight for Jared was riding on the zoo merry-go-round. He picked the giraffe for his ride.

April 17, 2004. It was a beautiful day.

We packed a picnic lunch and went to the shores of Johnson Reservoir at Clement Park in Columbine. This is the park where the Columbine High School memorial is located.

Dave took Spencer to the Rockies-Braves game. The Rockies won. In the background, you can see the two teams shaking hands just as the game has concluded.

Memorial Day Weekend, 2004.

Brian and Laura (now engaged) joined us for a family mini-vacation in Dillon, Colorado. The condo we rented is by gorgeous Lake Dillon in ski country, at 9000 feet elevation, and it happened to snow on Saturday. Brian and Laura wanted to experience the hottub in a snowstorm, and here they are!

Here are Laura and Brian in the back of the boat. Although the sun warmed up the area quite a bit, the day was a little windy, and out in the middle of the lake it was very windy and chilly.

Jared got to participate in the local Special Olympics. Here's the medal he got for particpating with his soccer team. He's so proud of it!

Maupier with her puppies.

On June 1 and 2, Maupier gave birth to five gorgeous puppies. Here they are in their "drawer" bed. There are five girls and one boy.

Cleopatra looks the most like her mommy - tan, with some black, but mostly white. Barbara thinks she's the prettiest.
